Join Floriade in the Region!
Floriade Expo 2022 will open in Almere on 14 April 2022. A grand and comprehensive event, expected to attract over 2 million visitors! This is going to have an impact on the whole of Flevoland. Lots of media attention, (inter)national visitors, international delegations and resulting projects. The theme of this expo is Growing Green Cities, focusing on sustainable developments in the field of food, energy, green and health.
Cashing in on opportunities!
There are plenty of opportunities for entrepreneurs in the tourism and cultural sector to hitch a ride on the attraction of Floriade Expo 2022. We want to capitalise on these opportunities with, among others, the #GreenVibes campaign; a green stream of positive energy that is visible throughout Flevoland and surprises people, setting them in motion. Under the theme #GreenVibes, we want to help and encourage entrepreneurs as much as possible to participate with matching offers.
Hitch a ride on (inter)national campaigns that are being developed and implemented, participate in packages/products, contribute to the visibility of this special year or include communication statements in your own channels.

Join the #GreenVibes
Would you like to do something with the theme or the Floriade? Then hook into our #GreenVibes campaign and email us to help you do so!
Our aim is to dress Flevoland as green as possible during the Floriade period. With eye-catchers (citydressing) in the landscape and possibly also at your company, inviting selfie spots at special locations, #GreenVibes packages, fun actions and appealing campaigns to showcase all this.
We would be happy to help you think about how to link up with your offerings. For example, by offering combined packages, a themed programme for your company, themed routes or special products.

Do you have a tourist/cultural package/product or would you like to create a package with fellow entrepreneurs that ties in with our #GreenVibes campaign? Then register it with us!
All packages offered in Flevoland that match the target groups are included on the tourism website www.visitflevoland.nl. In addition, several (inter)national visitor campaigns will be launched this year, including a special #GreenVibes campaign.

Throughout the province, we will show that 2022 is a special themed year.
We do this by dressing up all kinds of places in #GreenVibes. With flags, signs, selfie spots and stickers.

Monthly winner and overall winner
A monthly winner will be chosen from all entries, who will be posted on our site with their story and mentioned in our socials. After Floriade Expo 2022, an overall winner will be chosen from all the monthly winners. This company will win the #greenvibesaward and a nice prize that we will keep as a surprise for a while....
To get residents, entrepreneurs, schoolchildren and visitors even more involved with Floriade Expo 2022 and to get them to hitch a ride, Flevoland Province initiated, among other things, the project 'Floriade in the Region'. Several components will be realised in this, including supporting entrepreneurs, involving residents, visibility with #GreenVibes and activating schoolchildren.
